UK COAL SUBMITTED THEIR 2ND SET OF DOCUMENTS TO LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON FRIDAY 23rd July. 
 
A new Briefing Note " New Developments in the Application" has been written, 
which states:
 
With a new round of consultations on the Minorca Application about to begin this Briefing Note outlines what is about to happen as UK Coal submit their ‘Addendum’ and start 2nd round of consultations. You can now download it from the briefing notes section on this web site entitled "Briefing note 5"
Everybody who submitted an objection to the first submition will have to resubmit their objection to this new submittion.  Unfortunately that is how the planning process works.
 
You can also however submit electronically 
 
  1. Go onto the LCC development and review board web site - via this web link. 
  2. Click on the Minorca Date icon - a new window will open up with LCC web page.
  3. Go to the bottom of the list to the section titled "comment on this application" - and submit your objection. 
  4. There are 2 sections - one for public comments and one for consultee comments.
  5. Put your comments in on both.
You should receive a reply back in the post acknowledging your objection

YOU HAVE A VOICE - LET IT BE HEARD.
Write to your Parish Councillers.  Write to your County Councillers.  Object in WRITING before its too late!!  Example letters can be downloaded here.
Believe it or not, unless you write to your council reprasentatives with your objections then it will be all over and the misery and mayhem will begin - despite what people think.  After all - what have you got to loose??
